“Barry’s strong cultural knowledge, lived experience, and commitment to community make him a valuable addition to our team. His perspective as a Traditional Owner brings important depth to the way we approach heritage management and decision-making at ALS.”

Bill Bennell, Principal Director

At ALS, Barry is excited to practice anthropology in the field while continuing to fulfil his responsibilities as a Traditional Owner. He brings a thoughtful and grounded perspective to heritage work, supporting informed decision making around Noongar culture and heritage. This is a responsibility he carries with great care and respect.

We are honoured to have Barry join ALS and look forward to the knowledge and leadership he will contribute to our work across Noongar Boodja.
