Meet Julia, our Operational Support Consultant!
We are thrilled to introduce Julia as the newest member of our team. Julia is about to graduate from university but already boasts substantial fieldwork, analysis, and research experience through her studies and previous employment in the resource sector.
She brings three years of excavation experience, including archaeological and ethnographic fieldwork. This work has provided her with in-depth knowledge of Indigenous and European archaeology and involvement in heritage and environmentally-focused projects. Julia also has two years of GIS experience acquired through coursework and professional roles.
Bill Bennell, Principal Director at ALS, remarked, “We are thrilled to have Julia join our team, bringing her wealth of experience and passion for archaeology.”
Her dedication to community and social causes is evident in her role in organizing annual events to raise funds for UN Women Australia and serving on the Perth chapter’s board. This highlights her strong organizational skills, ability to perform under pressure, and excellent people and time management abilities. When she’s not immersed in her professional pursuits, Julia finds joy in playing music and indulging in board games. Her diverse interests bring a unique and vibrant energy to our team.
We’re eagerly anticipating the valuable contributions she’ll make with her passion and expertise. Welcome, Julia!
