Welcoming Jayd Kennedy!
We’re thrilled to introduce Jayd Kennedy, who has joined our ALS team as the Administration Assistant. After taking some time away from the workforce to extend her family, Jayd brings a wealth of experience from various industries, including Mining – Heritage, State Government – Multicultural Department, Real Estate, Logistics, and Tourism – New Norcia. Her return is marked by a renewed enthusiasm and dedication.
Jayd’s journey through these diverse industries has culminated in a passion for working with Indigenous Communities, and we’re excited to have her on board. “It’s very exciting to be a part of a business that works tirelessly to preserve our culture in such an effective way. It seems silly but I couldn’t tell you exactly where I see myself in a few years but I know I would still be working with community somehow, there are so many opportunities out there to be involved”, Jayd Kennedy, Administration Assistant.
Proud of her Indigenous heritage, Jayd has family ties to Yamatji – Wajirri and Noongar – Yued country. Her life has been enriched by experiences in stunning locations across our country, including Alice Springs, Kimberly, Perth, Wheatbelt, and most recently, the Southwest, where she resides with her family.
With a diverse professional background and a deep understanding of different communities, Jayd brings fresh insights to our team. Her aim is to foster the growth and maintenance of our relationships, principles, and framework. Jayd’s dedication to working with Indigenous Communities aligns seamlessly with our mission and makes her a valuable asset to our team.
“It is an absolute pleasure to welcome Jayd to our team. Having had the privilege of working with her in previous roles, I can confidently say that she is a major asset to our organisation. Her expertise in the heritage sector will undoubtedly play a pivotal role in her current and future work with us.” Bill Bennell, Principal Director.
Please join us in extending a warm welcome to Jayd Kennedy as the newest member of the ALS team. We look forward to the contributions she’ll bring and the positive impact she’ll have on our collective efforts.
